When I was 16 years old I had sex for the first time and found out that I had an STD. Now I'm 29 and I've been trying to conceive for some time now and things isn't working out. Can you have a baby after having an STD?

of course some people can! what i would do, if i were you, is call your gynocologist and set up a consult. you may have an infertility issue that has NOTHING to do with the old STD... or even if (by some remote chance) the STD has had an effect (depending on what kind it was... you didn't say) the doctor will know what the next step is for you! some STD's do effect your tubes... please consult your gyno!

Yes, I'm sure you can. When I first started going to the doctor they asked me if I have any STDs or my fiance have any. So, by that question I'm assuming it's very well possible. You could also talk to your doctor or someone at a clinic about it. I'm not sure if there are any STDs that make you unfertal, there are always fertillity clinics that can test it for you

yes you can. it depends on what STD you have.
Check with your doctor to see when is the dormant period of the virus so that you can conceive.
There are medicines available to cut out the virus for a certain time.
