mmm not necessarily - physics is predominately math based and theoretical whereas alot of chemistry is physical and applied - but who knows some people just like the sciences in general

Not Necessarily. I’m a Chemistry major that very much enjoys Biology, but dislike Physics. I like to think about how things work in Physics, and while it is entertaining to think about such things… learning the fundamentals and solving problems are not so fun for me. After trying couple of advance physics courses... I decided that I hate Physics. I probably dislike physics because I don’t particularly like mathematics and Physics is calculus intensive. Although General Chemistry involves some elementary math, when you learn upper division Chemistry, applications of math becomes much less significant. As far as being "good" in chemistry, I believe it’s just a matter of how much time you are willing to put into it.

If what you like is recording numbers and doing math, you'll probably do well.
