My mum was saying that all the old Superman actors (the guys that played superman) all had miserable deaths, the recent Christopher Reeves being the latest. Is there a reason for this? Is this a little freaky?
(I hear some people say "what about Dean Cain", he played Superman in lois and clark". My answer would be that his career died a horrible death, and hes next.)

Yes. I have heard of this too. Dean Cain played Superman, AFTER Christopher Reeves, so if the curse holds may remain to be seen.

Televisions Superman, George Reeve, committed suicide by shooting himself. He and Christopher Reeves are the only ones i know died unusual deaths. It is a bit strange.

Playing Superman type casts you so you get lass roles and spend most of your time in recreational pursuits that can lead to accidents. it could be worse. You could have a role in Poltergiest.
