I just realized you said fattest, not fastest, lol. My bad. Well there was a guy named Gates Brown. Played for the Tigers. He was a pinch hitter. One game, he figured he wasn't going to bat. So he went into the clubhouse and loaded up some hot dogs with ketchup and mustard. They called his number, so he tossed the dogs down his shirt. He ended up gapping the ball, and on his way to second, he slid headfirst. Next thing you know, he had ketchup and mustard all over his jersey. Place died laughing.

Easily Steve Balboni of the Yankees, he had to be well over 300 lbs. Played through most of the 80's and was mostly known as a homerun hitter. He had one career bunt and no Stolen Bases.
