Is it freon or a thermostat? I'm not good with appliances so I don't know what the problem could be. I'm also afraid that my refrigerator might lose cold air as well. Once the freezer went out my paranoia has got me believing that stuff in the fridge are now getting warmer whether it's the case or not.

Also, is there a reset switch on the back of the fridge possibly?

Well, let's start with something simple that you can do.

CLEAN OUT THE DIRT

Get down on the floor, on your prayer bones, and carefully remove the front and back covers if your unit has those.

Reach back in with a soft brush and your vacuum and get all those dust bunnies out from under there.

Most of the time that will cure your problem. If this does not cure the problem then it is time to spend $60 - 100 for your local tech. to have a look.

Same thing hhappened to me. Called the appliance service people. They came out and recharged the freon system. Thank goodness it minus 30 degrees and I could the freezer stuff outdoors until tthey got here. Put the refrigerator stuff in thr "cold" entryway which was plus 30 degreesl

It could be either the thermostat or the freon loss. either way if you aren't good with appliances, best bet would be to call a repairman.

I had the same problem with my frig. You will need to have more freon put in, Also have them check for leaks, as this may also be the cause.
