I agree with you! Some of the funniest people are the least famous for it. I never understood the appeal of Seinfeld, and Ray Romano is annoying at best. Maybe it was the characters that they played, but I can't stand them.

Both Ray Romano and Jerry Seinfeld had successful television comedy sitcoms and are famous to the general public. They still air their re-runs. Maybe you've been on your computer too long to take note.

I have a funny uncle. He came to visit us. He doesn't speak English. But, it's the things that happen to him that are funny. He just screws up a lot in life. And it's funny. He wears unfashionable clothes. But, isn't aware of it. It's also the language barrier. There are probably really funny Vietnamese,Russian,Spanish etc. speking peple. But, if you don't speak their language. You don't know if they are funny.

Some famous people ARE funny, some aren't. It depends on your own personal definition of funny.

I agree. I find other people to be a lot more funny than said examples as well, but you do have to keep in mind that a lot of things that happen in show business happen by chance...

Because they are. To be famous, you have get around to people. Everyone knows who they are. Every does. And if they dont...its just weird.
