have you had your thyroid checked? some of the symptoms you are describing sound like a thyroid problem. need to go to a doctor and he can run lab tests to determine if you are having thyroid issues

OK my opinion is that there is something on your mind that wont let it rest and you need to figure out what that is. You say you dont want to take sleeping pills which is fine, but Tylenol PM or Excedrin PM is pain reliever with a gentle sleep aid which I think would atleast let you catch a few hours of sleep. I think once your body slows down and gets some sleep the other symptoms will probably go away. If not, then you definitely need to seek medical advice and get some blood work done. You are only 14 and should be worried about your hair or which outfit you should wear tomorrow, not if you are sick?? Let a dr confirm and go from there. I hope you get some rest tonight. Take the Tylenol PM and read a good book.....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Im anemic and tired and cold all the time.
Maybe you could get some iron tablets, they wont do you any harm if your not, but I find that after a few days on these, I feel alot more refreshed. You could just also have a virus of some type, perhaps nothing more than the common cold. I would suggest however, that perhaps you visit your gp/doctor and perhaps arrange a blood test, this will let you know if you are anemic or if you have a viral infection of some type. Try not to worry, put your mind at rest and visit your doctor.

Your body is reacting to an unusual situation and just letting you know it isn't happy - pins and needles are a sign of poor blood circulation, and the coldness may well be being caused by a lack of food. Eat a small plain (i.e. non spicy) hot meal, drink a hot-milk based beverage (like drinking chocolate for example), and go to bed and read a book. This should solve your immediate insomnia with any luck. If it doesn't, seek medical advice.

why haven't you been to bed? Is it because you can't sleep? If so, tell your parents that you haven't slept for two nights, and see what they say. It may be wise to go to the doctors.

If you've just been staying awake to see what it's like, it's sleep deprivation. You are getting the pins & needles and the coldness because your whole body is tired. You need to sleep to recharge, once you've had a few nights good sleep, you should feel much better.

Funny you get a good answer from shannon and you give a hard time about it. Maybe you should use your brain and a dictionary to learn what a thyroid is. You sure didn't have a problem with the foul language in your response to her. You are obviously a 14 year old who knows everything and just wanted to waste points. So, go figure it out yourself, you foul mouthed know it all.

Listen sweetheart, you are obviously upset and it's clear that something is wrong but not necessarily serious. General advice online may help but treatment can only be effective when it follows the correct diagnosis. Please go and see your doctor, they do understand, it will put your mind at rest and most likely lead to a remedy. It is also important that your medical records are updated so that your G.P.is fully aware of what is concerning you at this worrying moment, should a future problem arise.
I hope you have confided in mum and dad as well.
Take care of yourself, you are important !

OK. First of all go to the doctor. Second if u are using drug please stop and don't ever use it again. Third if your feeling pins and needled in your arms and legs. your blood is not circulating properly. If your freezing cold its could also be because your blood is not circulating. U need some sleep. Take so iron supplements. U might be anemic not anorexic. Best advice please go to your doctor. Or at least the emergency room. Its your life and your health. Now please go.

Tell someone. Watch a really boring progamme on telly. Like really boring and you'll drop off to sleep before you know it. Maybe you should have someone with you to watch over you as you sleep to make sure you don't die or something. Go to a doctor. Read the dictionary. Don't eat any sweets. Don't drink cola or coffee or anything. Tell someone. Put on another jumper.

If you're having much caffeine, stop using caffeine containing foods and drinks, and drink a lot of water. If you're not better after one more day, ask your parents to take you to a doctor. One possibility is a thyroid problem. Another could be drugs -- are you using any other recreational drugs?
