How many times while you are at the computer, wether you are programming or just playing video game, had to stop and go look around asking any body for an anti virus, would that be considered polite or annoying ? And what do you think about computer virus in general, would they entuce 'friendship' or anything at all ?

There are a few general catagories of virus writers that I can think of:

1) Those that are "script kiddies" and merely modify someone else's code to do something a little different.

2) Those that write viruses to exploit or expose weaknesses in software published by large companies, exposing those companies' unwillingness to do thorough testing.

3) Along with the previous answer, exposing the evils of closed-source software that cannot be scrutinized by the community.

4) Those that are just plain maliscious and like the challenge of donig something "new."

viruses will always be viruses they slow up the computer annoy u give u adult content and the most thing that gets me angry is that it is easy made that a 15 years old can make in 2 days like that sasser kid and there are programs to make viruses. viruses sux and there is an open battle between them and anti viruses programs (and anti-viruses/trojans are losing it)

Hmm... I've been at this for over a quarter century, and even the morally challenged people who think viruses are a good idea don't see them as "friendly".
