Actually those are only the frogs at Warner Bros, and in hollywood. Many frogs actually have a strung out dri dri dri sound. The bullfrog has a JUG-A-RUMM call. Some frogs sound like constipated crickets and many other sounds...unless my herpetology has completely slipped my mind, I dont think there are any that say Rabbit, it particular....
I guess the ones that do are doing it to confuse predators, I mean if a fox had a choice between a frog and a rabbit Im sur eit would go with the fluffier of the two, so the frog says rabbit, so the fox prowling in the bushes automatically goes into rabbit search mode, thereby allowing the frog to escape...Its all adaptation...ha!

I dont know...spend some time trying to teach one the rest of the english language. actualy, i wouldnt use english language as a starter for frogs...i dont think they have complex enough vocal chords for the rest of our language. try something easier and make yourself a millionare...or at least give yourself a new hobby

It is the boy frogs that say ribit. They are trying to attract girls. Girl frogs, that is.

cause it would be silly if they said

"squirrel....ssssssquirrel......."

and they are calling THE rabbit.

my answer is justified cause you can't really argue with it.
