Every time i restart my PC i get a balloon near the Time saying "You are running out of Disk Space on Drive C:"
But when i check the Space on Drive C: it has 27.5 GB Free.

Can anyone Help me.

I'm assuming you are running windows XP. Sometimes the amount of actual free space and what windows thinks it has doesn't jive. It could be a number of things, but the first thing I would try is to open up my computer, right click on C: drive and click properties, then pick the tools tab, under error checking, click the check now button, check the automatically fix box, then click start and answer yes to the question and restart your computer. As mentioned above, running defrag would be a good idea too, but if the problem lies here, defrag will tell you to run scandisk first anyway.

Its an old article but it does show you that your not alone in the experiencing this glitch... for an attempted quick fix try running defrag and scandisk, as well try emptying your temp internet folder. Try doing a defrag on the drive from Safe Mode, and then reboot.

i get that all the time now too... if your computer is a sony vaio from 2000- 2003 , i'm hearing that those vaio's have space problems , i work for best buy and i'm hearing alot of ppl complaing about that.. if your computer isn't a sony call the computer company and ask them if they can help your with the problem
