well its not that 'everyone' needs a gf or a bf. u can live without one too. i guess its just a kind of trend that u MUST have a gf or a bf to live in a society. if u've got good friends, u dont really need a gf or bf. morover, i think its better to be single. that way u dont have to bother about others. just live ur own life.

i don't know. i guess it makes people feel completed. i personally think dating while you're a teenager is pretty stupid. i mean, they are usually meaningless realationships (if you could call them that) or they go too fast, and you completely regret them when you are older. but that's just my take.
