Yeah. We should invade all of those little pip-squeak countries and force them to accept freedom and democracy.

First, Israel isn't trying to conquer Lebanon. They're trying to rout out a cockroach infection called Hezbollah that has infested Lebanon.

Second, I think the US should stay out of it unless asked for help. Not as if the US had any resources to commit anyway, being already involved in to major military conflicts in the region.

I have a few outstanding issues with Israeli policies, but they do have a legitimate right to take action against those who actively wage a war of terror upon them.It is not their stated objective to conquer the Lebanon, but to destroy terrorist strongholds and armaments.
As long as the Lebanese government refuses to honour its obligations to its neighbours and eradicate these scumbag terrorists from Lebanon, there can be no peace. As for Israel,it is engaged in the same war on terror as the rest of us and our fates are linked.

Israel doesnt need our help on this. They could wipe them out in a day if they wanted to.

The Syrian and Iranian backed Hezbollah has 15,000 missles pointed at them as we speak. Actually I believe Israel has been fairly merciful.

Clinton was too busy getting bj in the oval office while terroists were killing Americans repeatedly and he did nothing about it. Bin Laden was offered to him and he declined. Now we are paying.

Bush isn't concerned with popularity polls like Clinton, but he is trying to protect us, which Clinton didn't have the balls to do.

I agree with Becca...

The US should let that region go - get out and stop interfering.

I haven't seen the US bring peace to the Middle East yet so they're no better than the rest...

It'd be better to look after their own at home first - I'm not sure what the US domestic situation is like, not being a resident, but I've heard things...

I personally would like to see the US totally out of that region, not supporting either side

They have been in conflict for 50 years, its too bad we are so deeply imbedded in so many other county's politics and wars yet 20% of US children are at risk of going hungry every day

No. The terrorist tag is just to show who's side you're supposed to be on.

If you look at Israel's history, you will see that they are guilty of setting out to occupy other peoples land, and this is on top of the fact that the UN gave other peoples' land to them in the first place.

Have any of you guys who are pro-Israel ever actually looked at her history? Please have a look. Start with 1948 and 1982. (i think they are right years, there will be plenty of Israeli offensives that you can choose from.)

We already are, not troopwise yet, but were do you think they got all their pretty military weaponry that looks exactly likes ours. I do not think the U.S. should Israel has overextended their grounds for invasion, the U.S. military is stretched thin. Hopefully the U.N. will be able to push a peace treaty through and both sides will disengage.
