Can I play Literati (a Yahoo game) with a friend in Washington wihout downloading Messenger?

When I download Messenger it tries to put more on my puter than I want, and when I say "no" it keeps asking until I get P.O.'d and disload!

Sure you can. Just go into games.yahoo.com and make sure you and your friend meet in the same games room.

well no you can't and it is a standrd dl, you either take it or don't.
