I'm looking for more than just anti-George W. Bush comments. These aren't the only two people who have president.

They consider him the best president ever, because he was the only Democrat President since Jimmy Carter, 26 Years ago. That is a statement in itself. America is doing great now, better than it was 26 years ago. Thanks Ronald Reagan, for setting us on the right path. RR--Greatest President EVER.

As far as the "Nobody Died When Clinton Died" statement, have we forgotten how he repeatedly bombed Iraq during his reign, and when CLINTON ORDERED THE CRUISE MISSLE ATTACKS ON THE EMBASSIES THE DAY THE LEWINSKY SCANDAL BROKE, Clinton also bombed and killed tens of thousands in Serbia in 30 days of bombings, after having previously stated we needed not go into the civil war, and had no need to interfere in ethnic cleansing...the TOMAHAWKS THAT DESTROYED THE PHARMACEUTICAL FACTORY MANUFACTURING CHILDREN'S ASPIRIN BECAUSE OF 'FLAWED INTELLIGENCE' from the very Agencies that reported Saddam had WMDs to Clinton AND Bush...the list goes on....

Liberals do not think Clinton was the best president ever. They are still furious that he signed a "cap" limiting welfare payments to 5 years in a lifetime in 1996. The welfare cap has worked and dramatically reduced dependency on the system, but to liberals welfare is an automatic "entitlement," so they haven't forgiven Clinton for being tough and cheap about their darling humane program.

This is principally why the heart of the Democratic party (the teachers unions and the lawyers) lined up early behind a 100% liberal, Kerry, going into the 2004 primaries. They still hadn't forgiven Clinton.

A moderate would have won. The liberal of liberals, Kerry, lost.
"What does this tell you?"

Clinton was not the best president ever, but comparing him to bush, he was better. The bombings were from the United Nations, not just Clinton, so stop making him sole authority to start bombing.

Now, first of all, the economy was NOT going into recession until bush took office. People on Wall St knew he was going to give TAX BREAKS to the wealthier people, so the economy went into recession BECAUSE OF HIM.

Ronald Reagan was a terrible president. Remember the Iran Contra Scandal he was a part of? The country was also in recession when he was in office. He also was part of the recent presidental group who stopped raising minimum wage. Reagan was terrible.

Because liberals like someone who "stands for nothing, Clinton was just that. An inept liar, a coward, and by a few accounts: a rapist.

Clinton was their "shining example" that there is no wrong, no right, no boundaries, no consequences. Sex is not sex, lying is ok to achieve your goals, breaking a marriage contract is acceptable, stealing is acceptable: White House items, that liberals do not have to obey the law, no need to go on, it would take all night. Clinton is sick in the head.

well i wouldn't call him the best ever. but i think he was pretty good. he balanced the budget by working with the rival party instead of against them. he helped barter peace deals between palestine/israel and also in northern ireland. he was able to relate to the youth of this nation and get them excited about voting. youth voting numbers have never even come close to what they were for the '92 election. and i think much of that had to do with clinton's honest answers to very poignant questions. (think mtv's rock the vote)
mostly i think clinton's strength was in working both sides of the party lines. like him or not the economy was very succesful during his presidency. and that doesn't happen by excluding one party or the other. the republican congress could not have done it without clinton and clinton could not have done it without the republican congress.

I've never personally hear this... most liberals I know would say FDR... maybe JFK...

but I do know that apparently most Republicans justify Bushes blunders by saying "oh yeah, what about when Clinton did x"

one man's mistakes are not an excuse for another man's mistakes... little off topic, but just saying...

Don't think he was best ever , know damn well life was better for everyone. Ask people who have kids in Iraq. Ask people who who will have to pay back the National Debt all their lives. Threr was a surplus with Clinton. I could go on on forever and find almost every president except Nixon who was better.

Why is it you liberals can not make one stinking statement without bashing Bush. You can not even praise of your own! How pathetic is that. But keep up the good work! Proving you have no thoughts or ideas just hate. President Rice sounds nice!, Rudy is for me! McCain is our gain. Lets keep a republican in the house
Thanks Democraps

Um, I think its a tiny minority of Dems who think that.
I'm a liberal and trust me, I do NOT think Clinton was anything close to the best.
But he sure was a hole heck of a lot better than Bush..either one...

Just remember: "Bush Lied, People Died"

"Clinton Lied, he got high...who cares?"

What did he do. I wonder what action he did, where there is a link to a good cause. When he left office the economy was going into a recession. He was an awesome charmer.
