You do ask the best questions.
Today, if I were Muslim, I would feel persecuted. I would fear for the safty of my family and myself. The goverment and the media are trying to cause a religious war between Muslims and Christains on our own shores. I would be afraid to attend my mosque (sorry about the spelling, there is not spell check on Opera). I would not travel alone at night.
I wish you and your luck, safety, and happiness in these troubled times.

hey listen, any one that's still humane and smart enough to seek education will know that Israel is at fault with what they are doing to the Palestinians and the Lebanese!!!
it doesn't need a rocket scientist to notice that trust me!!!!
there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of Jews all over the world that stand on the opposite side of the Israeli politics.
i mean, what else does a person need to know how to tell the difference between a victim and an aggressor!! it's like the wolf that tried to eat a rabbit and when the rabbit scratched the wolf's nose all the other wolves said hey that rabbit is one terrorist rabbit and deserves to be destroyed and made an example of for all the other rabbits out there. so no rabbit would dare to fight back, when the wolves decide they wanna eat you you should lay down and offer your head.
it really has nothing to do with religion or nationality to see who the perpetrator is. the only thing is that people in the middle east especially the Egyptians, the Syrians the Lebanese, the Jordanians and the Palestinians KNOW the meaning of suffrage and occupation!! they lived it and still living it day after day, they've lost loved ones.
the conflict in the middle east is NOT a religious clash or a clash of civilizations like some wackos like to call it.
it's simply a matter of illegal occupation of one country to another. and the inhumane treatment of those who live under this occupation. and it's out duty as humans to stand by and support any victims no matter what religion or nationality they are.
I'm all for a Jewish state even in Palestine but at least they should give the land back that they are occupying since 1967!!!
the Israeli government has NO regard to the international Laws and NO one seems strong enough to stop them so basically they can do whatever they want when ever they want. which should not be the case.
the Israelis need security from their neighbors??!!!! c'mon their neighbors are the ones that need security from Israel!!
Israel has more than 150 nuclear head. they can destroy and crush their neighbors. they dont even have to use nukes look at Lebanon for god's sake look what the Israelis have done!!!!
please!!!!!

You mean people dont already do this? I would just assume that people would try and put them selfs in others shoes but I guess im wrong... If I was born a muslim in an arab country I would probably be fighting with all my heart against what I thought to be evil and same for if I was Jewish or any other race/country men. I guess I should thank god I was born in a country where its ok to be anti war at least to some degree... Of course thats probably gona change at some point in the near future if G.W.B and his secret hand shaking pals have it there way... NEVER....

All of use come to world with nothing. You free to believe in the teaching of any religions. But it seem like those born in the Muslim families does not have choice of choosing a religion.
What I have understand is that there no religion whom teaches people to bad , greedy or going round kill people. All religions teaches you to be KIND & to be GOOD, should be going round helpping each another. It's Some spoil BRAY that mislead his followers, to create these sins. GOD from all Forms, Please put a STOP to this.

I was born a Christian and became an Atheist.
I was born in a society of bigotry and anti semitism and I renounce those things too.
i care deeply about my family and my friends, and I distrust anyone who would rally me to causes of patriotism and religious fervor.
I dislike radicalism and fanaticism. I have no respect for medieval thinking.
If I were born Muslim, I would not have been free to find my own path to the truth, I would have had blind obedience beaten into me.
I would be someone to pity, if I were born Muslim.
Muslims must renounce violence to become what they have the potential to become.

The real question is does the born muslim follow the dictates of the Koran regarding Jihad and killing or subjugating all the unbelievers? Seems to me a lot of people are born into a tradition they ought to be getting out of. Of course, that earns them a death sentence from the "peace loving" muslim believers, according to the Koran.

It is obviuos that radical islamists, want to kill people. That is not a religion, that is a death squad. I hope all people turn against them in the most horrific slayings the world has ever seen, they should be banished from earth by death. Really, they just need proper education, but they are not going to get it-so death to all of them. I think the USA should pass a law that it is okay to kill any of these members since they are known terrorists. That is the Islamist law, lie and kill.

Actually, I am part Lebanese. So somewhere over there, I have family that is getting blown to bits.
But, that does not change the fact that their religion teaches death. It does not change the fact that terrorists have "hijacked" the religion for their own personal gains. My relation to any people over there does not change the facts. It makes me glad I got to grow up in America and NOT Lebanon.

If I was born into a Muslim family, (no body is born into any religion) and I was put through whatever entry ceremony that they have for that religion, at my first moment of self consciousness, I would convert to the Christian faith and spend the rest of my life apologizing to every one I met for being a Muslim at one point in my life. Oh, and I would apologize twice to every woman I met and tell them that they are an equal, and not a lower form a life.
