All circles are round. Why? Because language defines reality. And the definition of circle is "a closed plane curve every point of which is equidistant from a fixed point within the curve." The circle does not exist in and of itself--it takes an observer and a namer to bring the circle into existence.
So to ask why most circles are round is the wrong question. The right question is, "Do circles exist independent of the creature that has perceived, described, and named a thing called a 'circle'?"

You might try looking up the definition of a circle. It's a geometric shape in which all points on the outside edge are equal distant from the center. Seems to me that that kinda requires roundness.

A Circle is a singel plane on a sphere that passes through the direct center, an Oval is a plane that does not pass though the center.
