I am a bowmaker. My favorite weapon is the composite hornbow. Turkish, Assyrian, Korean or Scythian, in that order, don't care much for the others. Lacking that, the english longbow is a good weapon as are some of the composite or steel crossbows.

I personally like katana swords the most in medieval weapons. This handmade Shinobi Katana features a carbon steel blade with blood groove. Four pierced dragon heads are inlayed within the metal tsuba.

For me, its probably the Trident, even though its not a actual weapon, I bet it'd make a good weapon.
