I don't go in for the fantasy stuff but I guess it all depends on what you like...right now I am reading A Soldier's Story by Omar Bradley...he was the general in charge of ground forces in the invasion of Europe back in '44...I've also read The Unknown Patton by Charles M. Province and it was really good. Last fiction I read was Chapterhouse Dune by Frank Herbert...all of the Dune books were great, though my favorite is Heretics of Dune...pretty deep stuff and great sci-fi...

The Devil and The White City....its about the planning/construction of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair and a serial killer doctor on the loose in Chicago during the same period. Its non-fiction, but its written in such a way that its still a page-turner. I was enlightened and creeped-out at the same time.
