Don't be crazy - go to an Advance Auto or Auto Zone and use there FREE code scanner. Plug it into your car computer and search codes. You can find the issue and reset your computer for free.

your maintenance required light tells you that something is wrong with your car. you should take it to a shop and have them scan it for trouble codes. the light indicates that there is a code stored in the memory of the pc. get it tested or your car may break down on you. when it is fixed then the tech can clear the codes with the same scanner

try opening your gas tank cap and click 3 times or go to dealer and have them reset by computer

sometimes my car does this, and it's always after i've refueled. something about the gas cap not being on correctly.
