PROCRASTINATION is a bad habit. It is built upon series of putting important things on hold due to:
1. Stress
2. Depression
3. Plain laziness
4. Lack of motivation

People are just putting off what they can do later instead of now. I am a procrastinator on some occasions, however, this is work in process. Lack of motivation or desire to get things done. I do know when I do not procrastinate I feel much better about getting it out of the way. Again, this is work in process. Great question.

My husband has to be the worst procrastinator I have ever met. He just says he forgets. lol He just doesn't feel the need to rush. I am a very prompt person so it frustrates me lol. Maybe people who procrastinate just have no memories and small attention spans. I know he does lol. I love him though!!!!

they are too lazy to do whatever it is and put it off until "later" which turns into "tomorrow" which turns into "definately this weekend for sure" which turns into "I ve got time, I'll do it next week"
I am a big time procrastinater. Last year it got so bad. I had this project that we were supposed to be working on for a few months and was half of our history grade and we entered in this competition so it had to be really good. well, me and my partner (a fellow procrastinater, worse than me) did nothing but talk the entire time we were supposed to be working on our project and three days before the competition we were freaking out cause we had nothing ( well, i was freaking out, my partner could care less). I stayed up three days straight working on the project and got done ten minutes before the competition. We didnt win but it turned out really good ( we couldve won if i spent more time on it) and we got a B.it tore me up cause im really competive and I know that if we worked on it like we were supposed to we would have won. Thats why i have stopped procrastinating for the most part.

Because they had other things to do or just simply because they're lazy. Just do what you want to do so as to avoid procrastination.

I am horrible. I am doing it right now! I need to go take the dog out, wash the dishes, and pack up some packages.
