No, but if it's a sincere "I'm sorry" then it's a good start. It's easy to say that you're sorry, but much harder to actually show it.

No, saying I'm sorry does not always work. In fact, depending on what you are saying I'm sorry for, if it is a major issue, simply saying your sorry can be a major insult.

I don't think so.... Personally, I always say "I'm sorry" sincerely and freely, but I think it depends on if the other person is willing and ready to forgive me for whatever I may have said or done that may have disappointed or upset them in some way.

No, it doesn't. Some people just go to far, with an insult or grievence, and think that "I'm so sorry" will mend the rift.
I think it has to take a lot more, to mend the break, and actions, speak louder that words.

Not if it is just the token offered to get you off a subject. It all depends on how often this person uses the "im sorry" line.

Saying i'm sorry can be a bit repetitious,
always that recurrence of one always messing
up and thinking a sorry will always work ..
I mean, it helps, yet .......... well, we've all been there
on both sides of the coin .......

alot of the time it will depend on the other person. but what i found out really works is when you ask the person who you love and care about "will you forgive me" for whatever it was that you did to hurt them. then you will know exactly where you stand

if someone is constantly doing things that require an apology, then you have to wonder if they are really sorry, or if they are just saying "I'm sorry" to get off lightly.

It softens the situation up,and opens the door to sometimes a hard heart.It can heal the person that says it,and the person that hears it.
