Self explanatory indeed. He singlehandedly created the Jerry Springer Show. His unending, relentless search for ratings led to more and more rediculous shows, (like the skinhead show that resulted in him getting a broken nose from a tossed chair) . When he tried to go back to his roots as a reporter, when the show failed, he tried to uncover Jimmi Hoffa's body. Live network disaster for all to see. He's fortunate enough to have convinced a network to air his new show. He's discredited himself enough times, showing that ratings was infact more important to him than true journalism.

he is a sensationalist; it was true in the 80s/erly 90s when he had his talk show and did 'important, ground breaking' stories like interviewing Charles Manson (for what purpose I dont know), and was true when he worked for Fox News channel as a lackey and is true now as his new show resembles A Current Affair. Dont forget his biggest humiliation - searching inside Al Capones secret vault >>live<< and finding nothing but some wine bottles. He is not a real journalist- in fact, I believe he used to work for 20/20 and they edged him off the program.

He doesn't care whose toes he steps on. Many years ago, before the Al Capone empty safe thing, he reported on Willowbrook State School in Staten Island. It was a home for retarded people. It was a real hellhole and his reporting led to the place being closed down.

Well first he is very outspoken for what he believes in. He is a lawyer and smart, this can intimidate others, especially if they are not as bright or articulate. Next, he is handsome. So, there I guess they are jealous.
