I can handle rejection much better than I could when I was younger, but it's still not fun. I think rejection and acceptance are the most powerful human behaviors. Think of how much you can hurt or control a person simply by excluding them.

That hasn't really been an issue for me for quite a while - in real life anyway.
But its funny, a few weeks ago I invited someone to be my 360 Friend, just because he/she had a cool icon. I'd never exchanged anything with this person before, it was totally out of the blue. I was turned down. I felt that bad old 'rejection' rottenness for a minute or so!

As a teen I learned to be my own best friend. Now as an adult I actually enjoy when I am by myself.
As an adult I am a whole new person and rarely anyone dislikes me but occasionally I get a client that doesn't want me anymore for some lame reason. I'm a home support worker and most of my clients are thrilled when they get me but occasionally... well anyways the first time it happened I was very polite about it when she told me she didn't want me to come back, but when I got home I sobbed for a bit before calling the office to report. But they said not to worry about it because that client doesn't like anyone. I have another client I occasionally see that doesn't like anyone but she is always happy when I show up.
So I just had to realize that everyone is different and I can't please them all. That's simply the way things are so I don't let it bother me.

wen u r rejected for the first time in ur life or understnd smhow d end of a both way traffic,it's really hard.n u feel u can everythg to change wt u hv heard or felt.but for a matured n sensible person ,it is always d fact that if some1 doesn't pay u back d love n respect u hv for him ,he really doesn't deserve.it however pains to accept the fact.but,dear.fact is fact.n remember, time is the healer n wtever happens.happens for good.

i hate being rejected! it's taken me months to get over the guy, even though I knew it wouldn't work. You feel like if even he didn't want you, who will, your self esteem goes down the tube, and you feel like crap.
