I love to watch the running backs. Payton, Dorsett, Sayers, Smith, man, the Bears and Cowboys were the teams to watch for the best ever backs. I just grew into loving the Cowboys cause the Bears made my life too depressing by losing too much. The whole Steelers/Cowboys, Redskins/Cowboys, Giants/Cowboys thing is great for the sport. I live near Seattle now and the Cowboys coming to town the last few years has been the hottest ticket in town.

I "hate" them as an Eagles fan, and it's almost our birthright to do so. They are a divisional rival, and a team that has really kicked our butt for most of our shared history. 5 Super Bowl victories to none does not has help any, and we also consider the following:

* The Cowboys arrogance and their adoption of the America's team moniker
* All of the fair-weather Cowbpys fans in our area
* The Deion Sanders and Michael Irvins of the world (At least, Emmitt and Troy had some class)
* And now, TO

I've always loved the Dallas Cowboys.

The most memorable Superbowl ever was XXX.

Haha. Not because it's "XXX" but because I think it was the first Super Bowl I actually got to watch... (or that I remember watching anyway)

Troy Aikman has always been my favorite football player of all time and I was damn proud to see him honored this year in the Class of 2006 Hall of Fame ceremonies.

And to see them defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Super Bowl was memorable, because I knew the last few times they had faced them in the Super Bowl, somehow the Steelers had come up with wins against the amazing team of the Dallas Cowboys consisting of a Hall of Famer by the name of Roger Staubach.

Ever since the 90's, I've been a diehard Cowboys fan, as well as an NFC fan.

Therefore, I've always hated Houston teams... even though I now live in the Houston area, I've always despised the Texans franchise.

I think the addition of Drew Bledsoe, Julius Jones, TO, Marcus Spears, Fabini, and others will have helped immensely by season's end.

I can definitely see them taking the NFC East title, or at least grabbing second behind the Giants, with the Redskins and Eagles at 3rd and 4th respectively.

Drew Bledsoe has been a favorite present day QB of mine for a long while.

Sadly, all his glory was taken away from him due to injury, and his Super Bowl was stripped from him by Tom Brady.

If it wasn't for Bledsoe, Brady wouldn't be half the QB he is now.

But now he's in Dallas, and I can confidently say, if all goes well injury-wise.

He could lead his team to a Super Bowl in the near future.

I really believe the next Hall Of Fame should include Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin as well as Darryl Johnston and Jay Novacek and Charles Haley and others from the Super 90's Cowboys.

I wouldn't say the Cowboys have had the best runnning backs of all time. Dorsett and Smith are two guys. Emmitt Smith may have the most undeserved Prestigious Record in all of sports, becasue Barry Sanders woulda gotten it if he hadn't retired. I don't dislike the Cowboys but I hate there fans. The guy who is a little bit to in love with the Cowboys (with the love love love love love thems???) is a perfect example. America's Team, or should I say Equipo de Americanos. Lets face it, the only people who really root for the 'Boys anymore are Hicks, Rednecks, and people from Mexico.

I actually don't hate the team, I hate the fans. All of the Cowboy fans I know are arrogant and rather annoying...always saying they have five super bowls....well you're team is only as good as their last season...

I don't hate the team, but I have a "problem" with them because my Panthers tend to lose to them in the regular season a lot...actually I think all the time....but at least Carolina's playoff record against Dallas is 2-0...beating them in 1996 and 2003...and might I add...the 2003 game was "perfect"...Carolina pretty much cracked the whip....hey just like against the Giants...-_-

I like the old Cowboys better because they had a lot class. The 90's team were fun to watch. But right now they need to get it together.

I'll try to refrain from profanity. The Dallas Cowboys are the only mortal thing on this Earth that I can truely say I HATE.
Jerry Jones, or as I call him, evil incarnate, is the weasliest, slimiest excuse for a human being I've ever seen. Emmit although very good, is probably the most overrated running back in history....yeah yeah I know he holds the record, but it took him about 75 years to break it. If Barry Sanders, Payton, Jim Brown, or Gale Sayers played the # of years Emmit did, the record would be over 20,000 yards.
I was at the career ending game of Michael Irvin. I'm glad he got hurt, I cheered, and I'd do it again. I'm glad it happened of all places at the VET.
Cowboys fans are cockroaches. Just a bunch of bandwagoners that took to the winning team. You yourself said you abandoned the Bears because of the losses. Supporting your team is what being a fan is all about. You sicken me.
I'm an Eagles fan in case you couldn't figure it out. We are the toughest, most passionate, smartest fans in the NFL.
Cowboys fans generally are casual football fans that don't know anything about the passion of the die-hard fan.
I don't doubt that there are 2 or 3 die-hard cowboys fans, but that is about it.
The league occasionally makes rule changes to outlaw dirty play. In total there are about 15 of these types of rules. 9 of them are named for cowboys. The most recent being the Roy Williams horse collar tackle....the one that injured TO in 2004.
And don't get me started on the laundry list of arrests throughout the teams history. When Irvin was paralyzed in the Vet turf, I quipped "He's not hurt, he's just trying to snort the 40 yard line."
I just freakin hate 'em.
What the hell was with Barry Switzer, was he someone's retarted cousin who just needed a job?
Jimmy Johnson never beat Buddy Ryan.
Landry, in a classless move during the strike year in 1987, ran up the score with a team full of players that crossed the picket line (a$$holes) against an Eagles team of replacement players.
2 weeks later, the Real Eagles team beat the crap out of the that same cowboys team.

Americans team was always a farce. My life time saying is my two favorite teams are Denver Bronco's and whoever beats the cowboy's. In the last ten years I have learned to tolerate the cowboys since they are close to rebuilding.

Simple: they are America's Team, yes not South America, but the U.S. OF America. Love, love, love, love, sorta but love, really truly love, i think....Yeah I do love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.....adore, appreciate, bleed, and yessss love the Dallas Cowboys. Through thick and thin, good and bad, cocaine, heroin and wife beating, owners good and crazy, controversial, etc.etc.etc.

Altho I live in SoCal (without a home football team here) I will fly, drive, train, walk, to a Cowboy game when the play on the west coast, including Arizona.

So there you go!
