Your question doesn't seem to be appropriate as for considering that anybody who might be reading it won't be able to answer that question in a general manner. If you would like to see it in another point of view, you would come up to thinking that your question was truly unanswerable. First, because you say it's "hardest". What's hard for you may not be hard for me... Second, if you would just like to know whether there is such object or thing that cannot be defined, it's impossible... If it's known to man, it must have a definition. But because you asked this kind of question, I had the initiative to think that you're just taking my own opinion about it... So, I would expect that whatever answer of whoever meets your question would not be argumentative.. So I say, the HARDEST thing that I could define is "God." That's it...

What we mean when we say language has 'meaning'.
Philosophers have been trying to define that sort of meaning for over two thousand years and none (it is generally agreed) have even come close to a full and satisfactory answer. Mind you, there have been some pretty good definitions of parts or aspects of meaning, but the whole of it remains undefined.

A culture? what a soul is?
and in another Mansun song are the lyrics "The nature of an uncarved block is how to describe what is hard to describe"
So I don't know, I guess an uncarved block is hard to define?

Personally, I would say ourselves.
I am not the exact same person I was yesterday, nor will tomorrow's me be a duplicate of the one whose posting this reply right now.
