You'd have to be having sex for a living to get a urinary tract from sex

Yes you can, but just sex in general can give you a UTI. Everyone is different.

So. Pee before you have sex, and pee after you have sex. Might I suggest that you drink some water 30 minutes prior so you HAVE something to pee out. lol

Some symptoms of a UTI would be your back hurting you, an itching sensation in your bladder, blood in your urine, cloudy urine, or a burning sensation when you urinate. Not all these symptoms at once happen, keep in mind...you may just get one or two...

If you happen to get a UTI, drink much cranberry juice, and water to try and flush it out. If that doesn't work, make an appointment to be seen by a physician.

Joni B hit the nail right on the head.

Yes, you can get a UTI from having sex. To keep the chances of this as low as possible, always go pee after having sex.

I knew a woman who peed whenever she orgasmed and she got a really bad UTI that even spread to her kidneys because she just refused to stop having sex and get the infection under control.

No. UTI's are nature's little joke on women. The only way to prevent them is wiping front to back (not back to front) and even that won't really *prevent* them so much as reduce the chance you'll get one.

How much is a lot? are you having sex with the same person? is he/she healthy? It depends. I suggest you should as your doctor. Your body and your health are important so...take care of yourself!
