what's the best way to ensure tissue paper is excluded from clothes pockets before the washing machine is started? Somehow, someone will forget to check - no matter how hard you try not to

Put a trash can next to every single tissue box. Tell everyone you've got money rolling out your bottom to spend on tissue paper, so they can just use it, and throw it away. No tissue in the pockets (Who wants snot in your pocket anyway, GROSS!) and no tissues in the laundry. Now if I could just get rid of all thes stupid notes that get washed...

Try posting a sign in big red letters on top of the machine door as a reminder to check pockets

Make it a habit/routine to check every pocket as you put the laundry into the washing machine.

Turn all the pockets inside out before putting the clothes in the washer. If there's money in there it's finders, keepers/

just check the pockets while you put them in the washing maching. i dont tho, and i have no problem. we dont leave tissue paper in pockets. only everything else.

remind yourself to check the pockets or dont put paper on them.
