My Bf (he is by the way already 30) and I (and I am his first gf) are together for a year and till now he still does not want me to meet his parents. He's introvert my nature and I'm not sure whether it has anything to do with his shy-ness. He is simply jus not prepared and I'm not sure what I can do about it besides to walk out of the relationship...

Talk to him. Explain that this is the point you are at in your relationship. Then the decision is up to you. Introduce yourself to his parents?

A relationship or a marriage shouldn't be involved only 2 persons. When we accept someone as our partner, we should also accepting the people close to him or her. He need to understand this, else the relationship will not progress further.

dont push it. he might want have some 'issues' with his parents that he needs to resolve first before draggin u into his mess. dont worry about it, it hs nothing to do wiht u and i can say this bcuz i love my BF like crazy but i am not prepared to introduce him to my parents tho he insist. its driving me crazy and u are putting unnecessary strain on the relationship.remember not everyone has the same kind of relationship wiht their parents but that does not mean things are going bad between them - just that, different family has different 'way of doin' things and we should respect and try to understand it. i never pushed my BF to meeting his parents but that does not mean i do not love him or playing games.

Don't do things on impulse. In any relationship, you have to understand why he doesn't bring you to meet his parents. Once you understand his problem, maybe you can help him to solve the problem. Do let him know how you feel and I think that your relationship can improve from then onwards.
