I'd guess that all hate is unrequired.. It takes a lot of work to hate. It's not a natural state of mind. The easiest way for me to relate to hate I've felt is through jealousy.
I'd say Jealousy is rooted in self-hate for not accomplishing what we want. We see something we wish we had and suddenly we're jealous. It's easier to direct this negative feeling toward somebody else, but I think we all know jealousy is our own problem with ourself. Also, jealousy shows us what we want but perhaps aren't willing to freely admit. Its destructive and certainly unrequired.
That's my two bits. :P

NO but I did have required hate I received an e-mail from DR. EVIL for an aswer I wrote on another girls question he had the nerve to e-mail me and tell me off. So I wrote him back not the nicest e-mail then the stupid guy e-mails me back calling me a WH*RE so I wrote him an even nastier letter; justifed anger yes! Sorry had to get that off my chest!!!

i hate a freshman at my high school with a fiery passion and i dont know why. I have always hated her ever since elementary.
