First, this is a question better left for another category, but I'm not going to badger you about that now. Ravenfire's answer is correct but her math is kind of screwy. Also, Mitch is right. You really could use an English dictionary. Your spelling is atrocious. At least take the time to use the spell check function that Yahoo! Answers provides. And please use punctuation when you write. That blob of words above is nigh unintelligible. [Shakes his head].

Nevertheless, let's break down your problem.

qu=45+f=12

45+f=12 (You can drop the "qu").

In order to isolate "f" you have to subtract it from both sides of the equals sign.

So...

(45-45)+f=12-45

0+f=-33

f=-33 (F equals negative thirty-three)

Check your answer to see if negative thirty-three is the correct answer.

qu=45+f=12

Substitute (-33) for f.

qu=45+(-33)=12 (You can't add a positive number to 45 to get a number less than it. You have to add a negative number).

qu=12=12

qu=12

Doh!
