This question is almost impossible to answer, since there are over 5,000 languages on planet Earth. Just think of how many ways we can say good-bye in English

You get the idea....

I barely know any Japanese, and yet I know three ways to say good-bye in Japanese.

Too many. Even in English there are at least 10 ways to say good bye.

Aurevoir - French
Arrivederci - Italien
Hasta luego - Spanish
Auf Wiedersehen - German
Sayonara - Japanese

French = aurevoir, salut (also hi! )
Czech = nasredanou (sorry not good spelling.) , cau (like salut in french) , ahoj (like salut in french)
Luxemburg= Addi , Aurevoir (lol, a lot of word are french :p but pronounciation is different.
Flamish, dutch= totziens
