Ok, check this out. When you IM someone in Yahoo messenger they see whatever your Yahoo ID is. They can choose to change that later depending on what they want it to say on their end. Depending on the settings at your end it may appear to you that you are sending your real name. This is not the case. Anybody you IM can change your display name on their end. Here's how you do it on your computer. Open your Messenger. Right click on your name and select "display name". Change it to whatever you want.
