Some people go for the cheap. I did for about six months (to save money and it was close to my home); I hated that drill thingy too.
THEN I saw something on TV about the infections, unlicensed people, etc. I never went again.

because they are pretty. it looks nice when you have a professional job and people see your hands a lot.... it isn't for 'cheap' people. don't stereotype... they aren't cheap and they are feminine.... and where i go, it doesn't make my nails sore or infected. maybe you need to go to a decent place....

I don't I go to the same place every time. Very steral. Their nails last a long time and aren't that wierd pink color either.

i dont go often and i have my own dremel heads i do take with me
keeps down the soreness and the possibility of hepatitus which can be spread in places that dont clean thier tools between customers

the pain that women go through to enhance their outward appearance.. it is a waste of money in the first place...
oh answer to the question-- they are looking to save as much as possible bc they already blew 30+ on the acrylics themselves

cause maybe some people are less fortaunatly and dont have the money and you should be thankful some dont even have the money to buy the nails at the dollar store
