I think this carry-on has gone on long enough. must we be constantly terrorised and inconvenienced by the perversion of an already backward and oppressive religious fanatical belief system ? to each their own and freedom of speech etc, but when you try to blow people up its time you got a bullet in the face. Its as simple as that. call it genocide or whatever you like. those responsible for this attempted outrage have outstayed their welcome, by far. It is now time to kill the bloody lot of them. A useless drain on the worlds economy at best, and a bloody threat to all we hold dear. Sorry but you just tried to kill someone I love. In my book that is an act of war. Those responsible are lucky I dont have access to a nuclear weapon (yet) I would drop it on certain heads without a moments hesitation, and as for you, Bin Laden? It will never happen though. Who do you target? You want to blow up the entire Middle east? Millions of civilians would be killed.

Nuclear weapons should only be used if another country planned to launch a nuclear attack on your country.

In this day and time we must be cautious when deploying any "weapon of mass destruction".. For not only will the terrorist be wiped out, also many innocent people as well, who's hands have not been soiled by their deeds. Nuclear action may be justified but using such a deadly force will cause other countries to step in with anger causing a domino effect and thus:---a 3rd world war would possibly begin. Though the terrorist seem to be brain washed in their belief and their religion. You are absolutely correct. This has gone on long enough. The Zionist state of Israel and it's power driven Zionist war criminals need to be stripped of power, locked away and tried for war crimes. As far as shooting anyone in the face, well, more violence is not the answer. The pen is mightier than the sword. Bin Ladin is not the problem. But, if you really would like to locate him, just try the Lincoln bedroom, just a hunch ;) What is needed is an end to the attempt to control the world. This world domination behavior is not acceptable in a civilized world. Nor should we stand for it's acceptance by our government. We can blow away entire nations, without Nuclear weapons, we have MOABs. 22,000lb conventional smart bombs with nuke blast power but NO radiation.

WE have Tomahawks with fuel-air explosive war heads. The big Tomahawks can carry 10 war heads. They can burn entire cities with fuel-air explosive.

First the MOAB, when the shock wave clears, in comes the Tomahawk. The entire city is flattened and then burned with fuel-air explosive. The fuel-air explosive burns everything left and it burns off all the oxygen. There is no way to survive!

With our satellites we can target every Arab city in any terrorist nation, and then lock them all into a firing solution. Then at 3am any morning the order was given, every Arab city targeted could be blown clean off the face of the Earth, all at the same time.

We could land our troops 30 minutes later and own the entire nation. There wouldn’t even be anyone left to shoot at our soldiers. The only thing that would be left are giant smoking holes in the sand. Maybe then the other nations would say “ What ever you do don’t piss off the Americans! They can blow away our whole nation with the push of a button, just like they did to those stupid Arabs!” Maybe being “ Dust in the Wind” would stop all stupid BS America bashing. At least to our face, what they to themselves behind our backs doesn’t matter.

Actualy the nukes where droped on japan after the war was pretty much over... They where droped so people could see the power of such weapon because if people didnt see it with there own eyes they might not have believed it and then the nukes would have been less popular and there might not have been such an arms race to build them. OH wait maybe that would have been a good thing maybe it would have been a bad thing maybe im wrong maybe im right. Make up your own damn mind and do something about it...

Absolutley. I think we should take the approach:

"OK Nation X, you've been harbouring & financing terrorists. You have 24 hours to place them in the hands of the Coalition of The Willing or we will destroy your capital city."

24 hours later when nation X has not complied, then boom, bye bye city.

As the mightiest military in the world no one can defeat us head on. But in case you haven't been keeping up on current events, these terrorists are turning out to be quite pesky. That's because they have developed an organizational structure that is appropriate for a disperate, under-financed, ragtag collection of fighters to be able to oppose the largest power on Earth and succeed in getting it to spend hundreds of billions of dollars chasing it's own tail!

If we wanted to actually kill the terrorists with nuclear weapons we'd have to flatten every country on this planet including our own. These terrorists are like cockroaches - they're tough to find and kill, and no matter how many you get there will always be more. In fact, by rampaging through their "Holy Land" we're creating 10 new terrorists for every one we kill.

However, I encourage you to follow your dream and track down Bin Laden since Bush clearly isn't interested in doing it.

We need to make a new weapon that doesn't leave such a mess....one that targets better...and no explosion is necessary. Sort of like a personal sized missile with a guidance system and camera. Getting hit by anything traveling that fast would kill a person. This would be perfect for fighting guerillas and other undesirables.

I think the world needs to be reminded we have them. What kind of message do you think our enemies would get if they saw a few of our nuclear submarines taking a leisurely cruise by their coast? A reminder is just as good as anything, I think. Most people weren't alive when we dropped them on Japan. THAT was a horrible thing to do, but it stopped the war in it's tracks, didn't it!
