yes, but not normally unless exposed to things that stimulate milk production. if you are having something coming out of your breast and you are NOT nursing a baby you need to call your ob-gyn as soon as possible.

have you been around any crying babies lately? that made me make milk for years after i stopped breast feeding.

Now i have cystic breasts that fill and need to be drained (hormones) being in the change i started with this breast thing last year. no big thing but it sure was a surprise when he drained about a 1/4 of a cup of fluid from one gland.

Wome women can lactate even before their first pregnancy.

However, it is a little odd and may deserve being checked by the doctor.

One of the causes for lactation NOT associated with pregnancy is a type of brain tumour (usually small and benign) which produces the lactation hormone (Prolactin). Other things can make you have more prolactin, some medications ...

And some people are just like that!

(One of my ex-gf's would express colostrum from her nipples ... never been pregnant ... tested and scanned - no cause found)

I had my last child almost 11 years ago and I still occasionally have a discharge, I have been tested and it was normal. A womens breasts if stimulated can make milk long after child birth, thats how they have wet maids for feeding children who have lost there mothers, this is the case in a lot of 3rd world countrys.

Do you mean serious lactation, or slight oozing? If you are having genuine lactation (if you can express milk) you should see your doctor promptly, because this is not normal. If oozing continues, you should also have it checked.
My friend had a slight oozing, and her doctor found a cyst in her breast. When it was removed, the problem was solved. Luckily it wasn't malignant, but he told her that it could have been and she was lucky to have been alerted by oozing fluid.

Yes - check your pituitary gland. It may have a growth on it. ALso, the discharge may be called "Protein Aqueous Foam Cells". Cut your caffeine and it'll lessen. Don't have anyone touch your breasts for 6 weeks either to stop it if it's not the pituitary.

There are some health problems that can cause this. You should see your doctor to check this out. The sooner the better.

It doesn't seem normal to me. I would call your doctor, as discharge from you nipple could be something serious.
Good luck!
