Why do we always complain about gas prices when in other places like the UK its over $5.00 per gallon?

By "we" do you mean Americans? If so, it is because we have become spoiled, ungrateful people. Change has to begin with ourselves.

Apparently, they feel the cost of gas is too much. Why else would they complain about it?

yea but most of us don't care what the prices are there ... only where we are and most of us don't even make enough to keep our bills up to date so why wouldn't we complain about the rising gas prices that we have no other choice to pay unless we want to loose our jobs ....duh

Because we have nothing else better to do, and have you noticed we are still pulling up to that pump and taking those long driving vacations lol
