Inside Corel Draw: select your image with CTRL+A or just the elements you desire. Click CTRL+E to export it and choose jpg. You will just have to choose the compression file export settings.

word file cannot be converted directly into .jpg, for doing this take the print of the word document, scan this and save as .jpg
Although the Corel Draw file can be easily converted to .jpg.
for doing this, open the corel draw file, select the contents or the design and press Ctrl+E or select Export from the File Menu, give the desired .jpg file name and select the file type as .jpg in the drop down list and press export, select the format as RGB or CMYK or Grayscale and press OK.
It's done.

Off the top, I would print the document, then scan it as a picture.
Right-click on the picture, then choose to "export as" - then indicate the directory, filename, and type (jpg).
I'm curious. Would you mind sending me a note as to why you would do this? I would either FAX the Word document with my FAX modem, or e-mail as an attachment.
As for Corel Draw - don't use it.
Side note: I think - if you use Alt+PrScr as suggested, you will also get a picture of the toolbars.

The easiest way (if you're using Windows):
1) Open the file you want to convert (it will have to fit on the screen)
2) Hit ALT + PRINT SCREEN
3) Open Microsoft Paint or another photo editing program
4) Click Edit > Paste
5) Save AS > Jpeg
