Hi. I live in the Bay area of Northern CA and they just came out with a bed that only does legs so I am sure there must be a bed that doesn't do the face. Even if you wear strong SPF and/or cover your face, the lights in the beds are so strong that they will still have an effect. Also, always ask how new the bulbs are, that makes a HUGE difference in your tanning. But it is always better to not tan in beds. They make a few lotions these days that slowly tan over time when used everyday. If you do use a self tanner, it lasts longer if you exfoliate first. Beauty salons or supplies often offer samples for free or very little, so you can try different ones. There are some GREAT self tanners out there, and remember the sun can really cause damage but the beds are much more intense than the sun rays. Hope this helps! Also, you don't need an expensive self tanner either, Neutrogena makes a decent one. But try whats out there!

at the same time as, as a popular rule, really white human beings merely burn contained in the solar and the darker you're, the more effective you could tan, this isn't set in concrete. The undesirable information is that no longer all and distinctive has the flexibility to tan. There are some very honest those who can spend time contained in the solar and they don't substitute coloration in any respect and there are different very honest those who can get slightly a tan. that is because some human beings have a distinct biochemical reaction happening lower than the exterior, and the secure practices that the exterior is installation position would not happen in seen undemanding. both way, a large type of UV publicity will be unfavourable their epidermis lower than the exterior. From the sound of it, you may under no circumstances be in a position to achieve a good tan. What you're in a position to do is get a tinge of coloration that takes away the really white look. in case you could, try swimming various situations a week in a heated outdoor pool in iciness and spring. this help you construct up slightly coloration competently. As spring strikes in the route of summer time, attempt to take your swims both really early or really overdue contained in the day, so that you're literally not uncovered to reliable solar. in case you could, a pool that is kept clean with salt could be more effective acceptable than a pool that is chlorinated. heavily chlorinated water can make unusual differences for your hair coloration (I keep in recommendations a lady with eco-friendly hair at school, lengthy in the previous it replaced into popular) and it may intervene inclusive of your epidermis coloration as well.

I'm not really sure where you live, but here in Chicago you can go to any spa and get a spray on tan that look awesome without damaging your skin. I am so fair that my skin would be damaged and I would risk cancer, so this is the best alternative for me and it looks natural. It lasts about 10 days or so. You should check it out because it is much safer than tanning in booths for sure.

most tanning beds have facial tanners that you can switch off. also try covering a wash cloth over your face and neck, but you will get a tan line.

It's not worth it. Just use a self tanner.
