For the same reason some women do. Because they are unhappy with themselves. With the relationship they've been able to build with the person they are cheating on. I am a bit of a feminist but I think it's a little unfair to ask why men cheat rather than people who are supposed to be in monogamous relationships. Men cheat and so do women!! My x wife cheated on our 2nd anniversary and I walked right in the middle of it. Try standing with a dozen red roses in your hand and watching your wife going down on her boss!!! It`s not just men and if a man does cheat who is he cheating with not another man I would like to think but I`m sure that happens 2.. It takes 2 and there is nothing right about it.. It always leaves somebody hurting and wondering why me? The answer your looking for is weakness and no consideration for anyone or anybody!!!

Men really don't want to cheat. They get hurt and in a moment of dispear fall prey to women who want a relationship. I am married and my wife lives in another country and I have not been unfaithful to her. I work with beautiful women but I won't cheat, however, if I heard that she was cheating I MIGHT thing about it as it could be a lie.

People in relationships cheat because it makes up for something they are lacking at home, if your husband don't like doing things socially (going out-movies, clubs, and so on) and you do, you will accept that way for a while but there will be times you want to do things and if you meet someone in a situation that makes it easy to cheat (liking someone you work with) it's going to happen and you will get to have "the best of both worlds" doing what you like and at the same time keeping your husband happy by spending time with him and his activities

Men are "wired" to try and mate with as many females as possible to ensure mankinds survival. This comes from the cavemen according to the discovery channel. Originally it was to populate the earth, but in todays modern times, men don't like to pay child support so hopefully they are using some form of protection. 2. To fill an emotional need such as need to feel desirable, need to feel like he or she is still a sexual being in spite of age or health, need for acceptance, etc.

One reason women cheat that is far less common in men is "to get revenge." I've known many women who have gone out to have sex with someone outside their relationship to "get even" for some real or perceived insult or grievance. I can't recall any man I have known that has cheated "to get even with that rotten woman."

some don't. Your question is impartial and implies that "men" cheat. Not all do. Do a better a job of finding one and stop ignoring your gut when it screams "loser", spend the extra time to find a good one. They don't hang out in bars or supermarkets though.

depends on the circumstances. if a guy in a relationship and wants to end it, he would rather cheat and get the girl angry so she will break up with him. its easier then telling her he is not into her anymore. also when in a relationship guys like knowing that they can still pick up girls, that they still got it. also guys always think that there is something better round the corner. hope this provided some insight.
