because they are not the best answer to the person who picked best answer

Well, I've skimmed over some of your answers and when a person asks something they would like a more direct answer or an opinionated answer. Such as the person that asked if finding a bat in her house was good luck. Your answer was "I found a dead one in my garage, I hope it brings me good luck". It was a yes or no question and it allows you to share your knowledge of the question being asked. Perhaps you were too busy disposing the bat, then got into your car and backed up and, BANG! you hit the garage door because you forgot to open it because of the bat. Your answer would have then been no. :) I give some good answers too but when someone answers with a simple answer like, "because you're cute" I get a little miffed. On one question out of 20 answers mine was chosen as best. My answer was "yep". That's all. So, don't let it get to you. G-luck.

its because though YOU think ur answer is great, the questioner still thinks otherwise. actually, the purpose of answering the question is not to be voted as the best but to share with the person concerned your PERSONAL views or the information you think as best answer regarding the question... just continue answering those questions, anyway it really dont matter if ur chosen as the best or not, since this is not a popularity contest.. Just keep in mind that though your answer may not be the best it will always be appreciated... It never bothered me at all but im happy and thankful that i got voted as giving the best answer the first day i answered questions :-) .. just share your views and dont think of the votes too much.

It is hard to know what people find in an answer but I find having several best answers that it is normally one that contains information in regards to the question mayby some suggestions on how to rectify the situation if there is a problem or suggestions for sites that might be able to help. I find life knowledge helps as well, answer questions honestly and from you point, good luck with it.

I think SOMEBODY's head is a little big.... Maybe YOU think your answers are great (I know I do) but other people don't agree.

maybe their are better answers and maybe that person that asked tha question picks tha answer that is first OR they pick what they wanna hear..
