These days your little brother is much too young to do any job without an adult accompanying him for his ownsafety. even with family such as cousins. It's jsut too dangerous, and 8 years old is too young to cut grass unless an adult is right there by him.
When I was I sold seeds, papers, ect(like grit) but it;s too dangerous for a kid now alone.
your best bet is to make jobs fo rhim around the house or with a relative you know well enough to trust.

see if your parents will have a garage sale, then you kids set up a lemonade stand. My 8 yr old son (at the time) didn't even put forth that much effort. He took out the cooler, filled it with ice and soda, and sold canned soda for a dollar a can, on the hottest day in the summer. Do you know that he made about $75 in less than 4 hours. I let him and his friends go to the movies that day with some of the money.

Doing this way, and having mom or dad around, is much safer. Needless to say, he made more at MY garage sale than I did. He probably would have made more, but he started to get bored and quit at about $75.
