I just got it and I know nothing about it. Can you tell me what to feed it, how often, and any care advice you can give me! Thanks so much!!!!!

I can send someone a pic if they think they could tell us about how old they are? from head to tail I would say they are (about) 15 or so inches.

I bought it from a pet store, I did not catch it from the wild.. we have no wild lizards in Michigan... they would not survive with our outdoors temps.. but they petshop could not tell us anything about it... .

OK I want to thank all of you who tell me how to and not to chose a reptile... This was my sister in law on my account.. I (mom_of_4) have a wide knowledge of lizzards and my sister in law who I allowed on here under my name to ask this just assumed that I knew about ALL reptiles, so this was not just a blind attemp. She has returned it as she realized what ones I can tell her about and what ones I can not... She did get a baby bearded dragon (which I have and CAN tell her anything and everything about) I realize as well as she does that they are not toys and that I why I talked her into returning it.

In the future don't bring home animals that you don't know how to care for. Reptiles are not toys and they don't make very good impulse buys. They need special care. Everything has to be perfect. That includes the size of the enclosure the temperature the lighting the humidity and about 100 other things. If anything is off the lizard will die. The setup for a reptile can get very expensive. Think in the future before you bring home an animal. It's a living thing that needs special care not a toy that you can throw in a fish tank with a stick and a leaf and hope it survives. Here is a good care sheet for a Plated Lizard. Follow it exactly before you kill the poor thing.

No wild lizards in Michigan, huh? Michigan has two wild lizards - the five-lined skink and the six-lined race runner. The five-lined skink lives throughout the entire lower peninsula and in parts of the upper peninsula. The six-lined race runner lives in the thumb area.

The Dolphins, who would be one million-4 after this game, are a brilliant team to rep. the NFL distant places. Fish is generally happening in maximum places in the international. Plus, who would not like to confirm a fish kick a substantial's butt.

If you caught it in the wild you should probably just let it go and buy one that was meant for being kept in captivity.
