Hotels r very expensive compared to the rest of Bosnia, u need to shop around Still suffering the effects of the war to some degree. All the EU people have forced the prices up. Don't wander off the beaten track without a guide as there r still plenty of mines not cleared! ( Not in the city centre of course!) U don't need to go to Serbia as Sarajevo has a airport and u can get a direct flight from Istanbul, not cheap as i remember. There is still alot of tension between the three factions but just b diplomatic.

Yeah be carefull i've travelled to serbia a few times now and yeah just make sure you have someone who you know lives in sarajevo....Not sure how expensive it is there though.......Oh and hopefully you wont have to fly to Belgrade Airport to get there.....It's a shocking old airport with very, very rood staff and very SNEAKY so watch your back and don't ******** to any 1.

The planes are very old and rusty smelly things and the flight attendants smoke on the planes though i have heard that they have banned all smoking on the planes there and the staff in the Airport no longer are to smoke in doors.

So aft i have said all that it really shouldnt be that bad and i hope you enjoy your trip ;-)

It is the worst place ever. Because one piece of hot dog is $10.00 + Ketchup $5.00. So don't go there.
