old lady comes and askes you to hold her while she crosses this intersection filled with cars on each side! Would you feel embarased holding her to the end of the road?

I wouldn't feel embarassed. I would feel like I was doing a good thing and that would outway any other feelings like being embarassed. It is always good to help people in need.
