You shouldn't match your makeup to your clothes, it can wash you out. Your makeup is supposed to complement you, just like your clothes are.
You should choose eyeshadow shades that are on the opposite side of the color wheel from your eyes (for you, browns and golds). Aside from browns and golds, you might like to try shades of rosy-plum, lavender, deep rosy-pink, and olive khaki.
Hope this helps! :~)

I am the same as you and I always stick to natural colors for day wear with a peachy/pink undertones. I look glowing and fresh. At night, I add a little touch of the greenish/blues to my eyes to give it a slightly smoky look and go a shade darker on my lips.

You don't need to match the eyeshadow to your jeans cause they go with everything. With a red top though a smoky gray with a little dark purple mixed in would be awesome. The gray is the main color the purple just makes it more dramatic.

I think a light pink goes well with blue eyes. It makes your eyes pop (more noticable).

Match your makeup to you, not your clothing. Almay I-Color line is a good start.
