I make a distinction between things that are "wrong" and things that are "definitely not for me". I think that in and of itself, there's nothing "wrong" with it (you left out the context; if you're away from your partner for an extended amount of time, that would be different from cybering with someone who is NOT your partner when in a committed relationship).

Just silly, pointless, and overly complicated. Masturbating the old-fashioned way is so much more enjoyable. I'd rather enjoy my orgasm without having to let go of myself to type "omg, I'm cumming!!!11"

I would not say it is wrong - it is boring, but I see nothing wrong with it. Whatever floats your boat man. I know a lot of people get off on that as well as phone-sex. Neither particularly does much for me.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It helps me with being more detailed with my writing. And to freely express my sexual ideals. I figure as long as I'm not doing it with someone under age or totally a pervert then there is nothing wrong with it.
