i had mentral like cramps until about 8 weeks. WHen i first found out i was pregnant i was in shock because i had been cramping and thought for sure my period was coming. The cramps stayed and the period never came. Anyway, i asked my dr about the cramping, and she said as long as it was not accompanied with any spotting then it was nothing to worry about. that is was just my uterus adjusting to the new visitor.

Hey Sweetie,
I'm sure you feel worried and scared right now, but try to relax. A lot of women have cramping, but it is impossible to know the cause until you get looked at.
Sometimes it is and sometimes it's a sign that you need to be looked at. I had a few episodes during my pregnancy and my doctor advised me to always treat it seriously.
Who cares what the people at the hospital think! If you are worried at all, then please go. It's probably nothing, but why take the risk.
Wishing you the best and I'll pray for you that everything turns out okay.
I hope everything turns out okay

If you have one it's a great idea to ask your ob doctor first before panicking. If you don't please get one as soon as possible. The earlier the better as your progress can be completely monitored. It's not much of a hardship. I only see her every 4 weeks. Which is unusual for me because with my twins it was nearly every week. I have some cramping every once in a while but doc says I'm carrying baby low and this as well as back pain is normal. For me. Take care of yourself and take it easy. Don't over exert yourself. Listen to your body and your baby. If you feel winded after doing whatever, you've done too much. Relax as much as possible and keep your feet up. Look forward to swelling and bloating but otherwise enjoy.

No not unless the pain gets worse or if you have any blood discharge. Just relax and take it easy, I know easier said than done but that's about all you can do. But if you are really worried you could give the hospital a call and ask for there advise.

Kendal, I experienced the same sort of vague menstrual cramping early in my pregnancy and my ob assured me that it was not uncommon and that I was fine. However, for your safety and your baby's you should seek the opinion of your health care professional, just to be on the safe side.
