If your PC is windows XP enable the firewall feature- If your unsure how just ask or search the MS site for instructions it's fairly easy. Then choose advanced options in the firewall and block the domain for that site.

For anyone without or who does not want to use the firewall. Go to your browser -choose Tools- Options then the security tab. Find teh red circle with a dash labeled Sites. Once you click it you will see below the Sites button is available and a new box opens allowing you to block specifc sites- bewar you kids could get past this by choosing www.sitename.com\index.htm or another sub directory of the site.

If you have broadband and use a router, you should be able to put individual websites or domains onto a blocked list inside your router's online setup pages.

As routers vary greatly, you would need to check with the documentation that came with your router to see how this is done, but as long as your kids don't know your administrator password on the router, they wont get through to those sites no matter what!

You should be able to, though I could never get the filters to work right. Me and my husband doesn't allow our kind on the net unless we're in the room with them. I just don't take chances, it's too easy for them to find things that they shouldn't. Actually it happened a few weeks ago while I was out of the room, so that's why we set that new rule with them. You can also buy parental control software.

You might actually have to purchase a newer version of Security software. Also try running the windows updates that are on your PC - that might help as well. All you have to do is go under TOOLS - then click on windows update and then - click the EXPRESS (recomended) and run the updates - after which restart your computer and that may help - not 100% sure though.

We have a router by netgear that lets us prevent the computer from getting information for ISPs and whatnot. You can see what going on with it to. It speeds things up when you ban advertisers and whatnot that download, say through Yahoo! I'm sure they appreciate that. lol

This should be under parental controls on your computer's virus protection software.
