Thanks to the UK, Scotland Yard, and US agencies. Those poor people on airplanes could have been our parents, grandparents, children, not just some dumb fuel-filled rocket headed for disaster. Thanks to some smart agencies with actual human intel. nice to know that some countries have our back - thanks - there should be more appreciation for what was thwarted but words can't describe the extent of gratitude. This level of vigilance needs to be maintained throughout the world.

given that our govts have lied about so many 'terror' plots, given that these guys didn't even have access to explosives, given that the timing of this is so strange, i don't know that i even believe it.
read 1984. or shoot, read how the day of the london bombings, a security company was conducting anti-terror exercises in the very stations bombed.... gee! or think about how the british govt murdered that poor man - who lived in the same building as those "suicide bombers" who bought round trip tickets and paid to park on their way to die.... - just because he was wearing a coat.
Most of the problems we have in the world today were created by the british.

No you don't, our Secret Service has proved itself incompetent in recent years.
No attack was planned for TODAY.
Also our intelligence service tends to take the credit for stopping a perceived threat as opposed to a real one.
It makes Intelligence Service and the government look good and the terrorists get something out of it too, they have spooked us again without having to pay for ordnance!
When a real terrorist attack happens there will be no warning, just bloodshed and incredulity.
This current scare is simply an attempt at media window dressing.

Yep we sure do. Maybe not a thank you but a BIG Kudos for the job well done by their secret agents.
I'm against bashing of any country that makes the world a better place. These guys did an awesome job.

If the New York Times hadn't leaked the news that we were bugging cell phones from terrorist nations we, the USA, would have caught more terrorists too. Thank God for the Brits!
