For the past 7 months i've been taking lo ovral birth control pills to regulate my period. But this month it came BEFORE I took the pink pills..but i took them anyways to make sure. But now my period is over with, but i still have 2 more pink pills to take. Should I still take them, or would that mess something up?

Take all of the pills. Take the pills as directed. Ask your doctor if you have any concerns.

Hi,
the pink pills are "sugar pills" and you can take them (some woman do,it is
helpful for some to take these sugar pills during there periods so,,when they run out of them :it is time to start a new pill cycle)if you choose and I found
them helpful when I started to take the birth-control pill. Why,becauseI was a beginner and I had a note on my mirror to take "all" the pills,I didn't want an pregnancy.....
After years and years of taking them, I quit the sugar pills and new after 7 days, the next sunday to start a new pill packet...so...you did nothing wrong...
I would call your doctorASAP and inform him/her that your period srarted before the end of your birth control packet. This means that the birth control pill that you are presently taking are apparently not strong enough:I had to have my doctor change my pills 3 times before ,I finally quit bleeding during first 3 weeks....Also,sometimes when a pill is too strong you will grow unwanted facial hair and body hair, this means the birth control pills are too strong.....
My neighbor was a light smoker and was on the lowest stength of birth control pills and she had a strokr that left her blind...she was a hhealthy weight and exercised 5 days a week. So...please do not smoke if you do.
If ...you are sexually active take all of the first 3 weeks of your pills(eacj week, they become stronger)for at least 3 months tilyou have sex(unless ,you use another form of birth control....the birth control pills need to be in your body for a certein time til they are 99.9% effective.I wouls still ue a condom unless your married or have been together for over 5 years. It is better to be safe than sorry........

for ANY kind of birth control pills, the last week of pills (which are usually a diff. color from the rest) are the days on which you should get your period. if you want your period to be more regular take one pill every day in the right order & take ALL of them. dont miss any days or quit taking them just because your period ended or whatever.
but if you want your period to go away.. stop taking the last row of the pills (the different colored ones) all they are are sugar pills. they dont do anything. its just the one week where you dont need the pills but they put those in there to keep you in the habit of taking the pills. if you want your period to go away, quit taking the last row/dif. colored ones. say you take your last reg. colored pill today open a new pack tomorrow & start the first one. whether you have your period or not. just keep doing that for 4 months. dont take the last week of them. then after about 4 months, your periods should be fewer or gone all together. dont worry, its not bad for you. its normal. if your not sure about what im telling you, ask your doctor, hell tell you the same thing.

a little hard to respond without knowing what kind of pills u have. i would finish them, but i would also check with ur doctor about the fact that ur period started before the pink pills. if the pink pills r ur last row of pills, then usually they're placebos...sugar pills. ur period should start once u start taking the pink ones. of course u could have some other kind where those pink ones are not placebos. ask ur doctor/pharmacist exactly with which row of pills u should be getting ur period.

If the pink pills are the sugar pills (pills without the hormones) just leave them and go back to your regular schedule with the pills. You may need a stronger pill if your period came early, so talk to your doctor.

OK if I'm am correct the "pink" pills are sugar pills you take them just to stay on schedule the other pills have the hormones, stay on track for at least another 2 months if it still messed up i would talk to you Dr about going up to maybe the Otho novene 777. if you are sexually active i would use a back up method maybe spermicide or something along that line. :) good luck.

O.k. if the pink pill is the suger pill you don't have to take it as long as you remember to start on the right day. ps.the suger pills are only the last 7 pills in a 28 cycle. if you are on the 21 cycle you better take those 2 pills

yes you should still take them . they sound like placebo pills. they have no hormone in them they just keep you on track. Now if you continue to have break through bleeding then you need to see a doc your pills may be too low dose for you. Also you may want to use a back up method just in case.
